Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering - GATE , an all India examination, is held in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising faculty from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development and Government of India.

GATE Eligibility :

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) or a Master's degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or its equivalent.

GATE Application Form :

The Application Form can be collected on cash payment of Rs 1500/- (Rs 750/- for SC/ST/PD) from the designated Bank Branches. Candidates can also collect the Form by Post from the zonal GATE offices by sending a request letter and two self-addressed slips along with a Demand Draft. The Form can also be filled online.
