Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), a Deemed to be University established in the academic year, 2007-08 by Government of India, offers undergraduate (B Tech) programs in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences.The programs will have special modules designed to space technology and science besides general syllabi of Science and Engineering courses. Admissions to the BTech program will be done through the IIST Admission Test (ISAT-2011).
 
ISAT 2013 Eligibility :

Candidates should have passed 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/university with 70% (60% for SC/ST) marks in all subjects. They must have read mathematics, physics, chemistry and English as subjects of examination. Candidates should be Indian Citizen and their date of birth on or after October 1, 1985 (1980 for SC/ST).

ISAT Application Form :

Candidates can apply online, by logging on the official website. IIST Online application portal is open from Beginning of November 2012 and will be available up to 11.30 PM on End of December, 2012. They can download the form and after completing the form can be sent by speed post with a demand draft of Rs 600 (300 for SC/ST). Last date of online application form submission is on 16th January, 2013. The Admit Cards will be available from first week of March 2013 to second week of April 2013.

ISAT 2013 Exam Schedule :
The Examination is on April 24, 2013
Paper-I: 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon (IST)
Paper-II: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (IST)
Declaration of Result: May 23rd, 2013

ISAT 2013 Exam Pattern :

The exam will be of two papers. Both papers will have objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidate is asked to choose the correct answer options and record his/her response by darkening the appropriate bubble with HB pencils. Marking more than one answer for any question will be understood wrong response. Candidate will be awarded three marks for every correct response and one negative mark for every incorrect response.
