Shivaji University MCA Entrance Examination

Shivaji University at Kolhapur came into existence in 1962. It has about 2, 00000 students in 275 colleges affiliated to it. Shivaji University admits students to various post postgraduate program of the University either through an entrance exam or merit in the qualifying examination. Students need to pass the Shivaji University Entrance exam to get admitted to MCA Course.

Application Form :

The application form can be obtained against a cash payment of Rs. 100/- from the University counter. It can also be obtained by sending a demand draft of the same amount drawn in favor of the "Finance and Account Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur". The application form for MCA Entrance Exam should be filled online.

Submitting the Application Form :

Duly filled application forms along with a demand draft of Rs. 300 (Rs. 200/- as entrance examination fee and Rs 100 as cost of prospectus) drawn in favor of the "Finance and Account Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur" should reach the Inward section, Room No. 136, Shivaji University Kolhapur-416004 on the due date.

Eligibility :

Candidates need to pass their graduation under the 10+2+3 pattern with mathematics as one of the subjects (or at the 10+2 level) for admission to the MCA program.

Syllabus for MCA Entrance Examination :

The entrance test covers Basic and Current Computer Science 15%, Logical Aptitude 20%, Quantitative Aptitude 20%, English Verbal 20% and 12th standard Mathematics 25%.
