Medical Entrance Exams in Delhi

The two most important entrance examinations in Delhi are All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) and Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET). The Delhi University medical /dental entrance examination is popularly known as DUMET conducted by the University of Delhi-Faculty of Medical Sciences for the admission in MBBS and BDS programs offered by the university.

Lady Harding Medical College, University College of Medical Sciences and Maulana Azad Medical College and The Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital are very popular colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi. You can get admission in MBBS course and BDS course is available in Maulana Azad Medical College. And Guru Tegh Bahadur also offers the MBBS Course after clearing the entrance examination.

Eligibility :

The candidates should have passed 12th examination with Chemistry, Physics and Biology and English with 60% marks from the recognized board. SC/ST Candidates can get the relaxation up to only 50% marks. The final year students can also appear in the entrance examination. The candidates should be an Indian citizen and they should have at least 17 years of age.Those students are in final year of 12th examination, can apply for this entrance examination.
