Punjab University Campus and Location
Spread over an area of 550 acres (2.2 km2), the university campus is residential and lies in sectors 14 and 25 of the city of Chandigarh. In sector 14, the main administrative block and academic buildings are set apart from hostels, health centre, sports area and residential housing. Spread over the state of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Chandigarh, it has 172 affiliated colleges. The institution is famous for the excellent education imparted by the faculties here.
