Fast progressing Central University of Himachal Pradesh was established in the year 2009 under the Central Universities Act of the Parliament of India, and became fully functional since January 2010. Funded and regulated by the UGC of India, the jurisdictional area of this central university covers the entire State of Himachal Pradesh.
