University of Patanjali, Haridwar

Located in the Holy place of Haridwar in Uttarakhand, the University of Patanjali is one of the largest Universities for Yoga in India. It is named after the Ancient Yoga Guru Patanjali. Baba RamDev is the Chief Person In charge of the Institute. The main objective behind the establishment of The University of Patanjali, Haridwar is the treatment, research and development in Yoga and Ayurveda.

The University f Patanjali, Haridwar also focuses on medicine manufacture which is considered to be one of the reasons behind the set up of the University. The University was set up with a goal to inquire and set up a rigorous and thorough base for the knowledge which has always been there in the ancient Indian Sages.
