IIMs in India

IIMs are the most prestigious management institutes and top MBA school in India. Upcoming IIMs

Government is planning for opening of seven new campuses of IIMs. Four of these will be made functional by next year and three to be made operational later. The stage for these was set with the 11th Five Year Plan endorsed by the National Development Council (NDC) in December 2007. The total number of IIMs in India will reach 13 once all the new ones are completed.
