JECA - West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam for MCA

JECA, a written entrance test for the admission of students to MCA course, is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. Private Self Financed Engineering Colleges, Universities, Government colleges and some of the institutes in West Bengal admit students through the JECA.

JECA Application Forms :

Students can collect the application though the post by sending a request letter along with a demand draft of Rs. 350. Students can also collect the Application form the selected branches of United Bank of India. The completed application form must be sent to the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board before the due date and only by speed post.

Eligibility for JECA:

Candidates who are Indian and have passed or are appearing in the Bachelor's degree final examination in any discipline from any recognized university with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the Subjects in 10+2+3 pattern are eligible to appear and qualify in the written test.

JECA Exam Paper :

The JECA exam paper will have two parts - Aptitude Test of 100 marks for one hour and Mathematics of 100 marks for one and a half hour. The paper covers the areas of Reasoning, Problem Solving, Quantitative Comparison, Discrete Quantitative Analysis and Data Interpretation.
